Transmission System Operators (TSOs) for electricity are founding a new association to strengthen their co-operation in the European electricity market.

System Adequacy Retrospect 2007 published

The System Adequacy Retrospect 2007 report concludes that there was certainly enough generating capacity available in 2007 to cover the demand with the usual level of security.

First UCTE Transmission Development Plan published

In the coming 5 years UCTE TSOs should devote a total investment of ap-proximately 17000 M€ to the development of interconnections and the main internal transmission grid.
