Mission

Mission

• Build a common vision of UCTE priorities for development of transmission infrastructures allowing each TSO member to decide new investment while taking account of the mutual effects of the decisions taken by the other TSO's.
• Give to the TSO's and the market agents a global view of present and future level of system adequacy including both generation adequacy and transmission adequacy.
• Create a framework aiming TSO's at exchanging information on their development plans, at initiating joint planning studies (including a common data basis for medium long-term network studies), at assessing the effect of announced new grid devices on the whole synchronous system.
• Set-up regular regional meetings in order to share views on development plans, to initiate coordinated planning studies at regional level to share results and coordinate decisions.
